Every now and then a talent comes on the scene seemingly from nowhere, someone who when you first see and hear them play makes you do a double take and ask ”Who the heck is that?” and you remember that moment forever.

In late 2008, The Ocoee River Band joined forces with Award Winning Vocalist Cecilia Lauren determined to find a sound all their own. The combination of musical styles and backgrounds proceeded to produce a sound that has been described as everything from country and country rock to the bands favorite moniker – “Country Metal”!  Regardless of how you choose to label it, the bands unique style is received enthusiastically everywhere they appear. Couple Cecilia’s vocal talent and frenetic delivery style with the music and vocal abilities of the seasoned members of the Ocoee River Band and you have a show not just worth watching, but one you'll never forget! The band has recently completed their first CD - "Livin' Paycheck To Paycheck". In the meantime their self-produced single, “Country Girls Do It Better” is enjoying airplay in over 10 countries while their ballad, “If Only” is the dominant track for “Reporting For Duty”, a feature film currently being shown on U.S. military bases throughout the world.

Cecilia and the boys have shared the stage with top Nashville talent such as Billy Currington, Trailer Choir, Lady Antebellum, Bucky Covington, Whitney Duncan, David Nail, Kate and Kasey, Halfway2Hazard, Eli Young Band, Steve Holy and Dean Brody. They continue to perform at major venues, clubs and festivals throughout Florida.
